Fast-paced adventure in which pioneering explorer and merchant Marco Polo gets more than he bargained for when he becomes one of the first Europeans to reach China. Polo (Federico Castelluccio) is initially delighted to be given a stone by the Chinese Emperor as a token of his exploits. However, when the stone turns out to be the key to a passageway that allows dragons to enter the human world, the explorer is less pleased and finds himself fighting for survival against mythical beasts intent on claiming the stone.
