Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play.   In the early 90s, cult flmmaker Wong Kar Wai and fellow Hong Kong director Jeff Lau established Jet Tone Films, an independent production company that has been responsible for some of the most remarkable flms to have emerged from the region. Jeff Lau s flm The Eagle Shooting Heroes is based upon the same famous Louis Cha novel as Wong s own Ashes of Time which was shot concurrently and shares much of the same star-studded cast.
