Endurance tells the incredible story of the legendary Haile Gebrselassie, described by Runners World magazine as the 'greatest distance runner of all time' and holder of 27 world records througout his career, from 5000 metres to the Marathon. Beginning with his early life in Ethiopia where he ran the 20 kilometres to and from school barefoot with his books under his arm, the film follows his determined pursuit of Olympic glory and a 10,000 metre final at the Atlanta games of 1996 that would become recognised as one of the greatest races in athletics history.
