Drama directed by Paul Emami and starring C. Thomas Howell. Mourning the death of their baby, husband and wife, Paul (Howell) and Kim Jordan (Anora Lyn), opt to join a medical mission in Thailand as a means of getting away. When Paul gets led by a young child into the arms of kidnappers whose leader needs medical attention, he finds himself being held captive with another man, Malcolm (John Rhys-Davies), whose deep Christian faith helps him to cope with his situation. In their isolation, the two begin to bond as they clash over their beliefs but matters are made worse when Paul realises that his patient doesn't stand a chance of survival without proper medical equipment.
