Supernatural horror starring Ving Rhames. When Emma Carillo (Rachel Emmers) is fatally stabbed, paramedic Marcus Galan (Kristopher Shepard) tries unsuccessfully to save her life in the Mercy Hospital. Meanwhile the near-death patient Caroline Kuntz (JJ Newards) awakes, kills two people and leaves the hospital. After a string of similar killings, private detective Carruthers (Rhames) is assigned to investigate the case, and eventually realises that the killings are part of a supernatural plan by the demon Lilith to revenge herself against the human race.
