From 1948 until 1962 Farnborough was the world's greatest air show featuring all that was best about British aviation. John Blake show commentator from 1974-1992 and author of '40 Years at Farnborough's S.B.A.C International Aviation Showcase' presents this unique year-by-year film history of the event up to 1962 - the last annual show. Combining newsreel footage and official film records of Farnborough it presents a dazzling array of British aircraft with ground cameras recording the ultra low-level fly pasts air-to-air filming and even early in-cockpit material!... All the shows from 1957 onward are in full colour. Literally dozens and dozens of aircraft are captured on film in various marks.
