A series of similar murders force NYPD detective Mike Reilly (Stephen Dorff) and researcher Terry Houston (Natascha McElhone) together to investigate the mysterious deaths. All four victims have one thing in common - they were all men who logged onto a website 48 hours before their death. To find the killer, Reilly and Houston log onto the website themselves.
