American animation in which a gentle, friendly pet bull named Ferdinand (voice of John Cena) is torn from his family home and taken to an arena to be trained as a matador-fighting spectacle. Ferdinand struggles to adapt to his new home and feels out of his depth when he is encouraged to be violent for the purposes of entertainment. To escape his situation and return to his human family, he enlists the help of some animal friends to embark on an exciting adventure.
