A Test Match series in India is always a huge challenge and the 2006 series was no exception. The 1st Test was drawn and a week later India secured a convincing victory in the 2nd Test by 9 wickets. So with Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff as captain England needed a win in the 3rd and final Test to square the series.
