A rash of unexplained deaths hit the small community of Grovetown, causing fear and panic among local residents. 18-year old Lindsay (Elizabeth Rice) soon discovers that something evil and indescribable is at work and confides in Aiden (Thomas Dekker) whose mother mysteriously died some years before. As the frightened locals begin looking for answers, Lindsay is convinced she will be the next victim and realises that Aiden maybe her only hope of avoiding the town's gruesome plague.

Following the suicide of a teenage loner in a small Maryland town, the town's residents begin to die one by one, also by their own hands, apparently. After witnessing her own mother fall victim to the rash of unexplained deaths, 18-year-old Lindsay (Rice) begins to suspect that a premeditated programme of indescribable evil is at work in the town - and realises to her horror that she is the next victim to be singled out by its unseen perpetrators.
