Young, wealthy couple Paul (Caan) and Jennifer (Ross) grow bored of inventing games to amuse themselves and their socialite friends. When a cosmestics saleswoman, Lisa (Signoret), appears at their door they decide to invite her in and, after discovering that she has psychic powers, ask her to organise some games for them to play.
