John Michael Phillips directs this made-for-TV drama based on the 14th century Middle English poem. Set in an Arthurian realm of myth, the drama commences at Christmastime when a mysterious figure calling himself The Green Knight (Malcolm Storry) rides unannounced into a gathering in the court of King Arthur (Marc Warren) and dares anyone brave enough to lop off his head.
