When millionaire businessman James King (Ferrell) is convicted of tax evasion he finds himself facing a ten-year sentence in San Quentin prison. With just 30 days to sort out his affairs and prepare himself for a life behind bars, James enlists the help of Darnell Lewis (Hart), the owner of a car wash company who James mistakenly believes is an ex-convict. Darnell accepts the challenge and arranges all manner of activities that will get James to toughen up. Along the way, both men come to some realisations but when the 30 days are up will James be ready for what lies ahead? The cast also includes Alison Brie, Craig T. Nelson and T.I.
