After Berke gets dumped by Allison the love of his life he'll do anything to get her back. Against the advice of his buddies Dennis (sisqo) and Felix Berke Desperately follows Allison's lead and joins the school play. But when he struggle on stage Berke gets bailed out by his friends little sister Kelly (Kirsten Dunst) who just might be the one to help him get over his ex.

When High School student Berke (Ben Foster) is dropped by his long-time girlfriend Allison (Melissa Sagemiller), he determines to do everything in his power to get her back. So when Allison signs up for the school's upcoming musical production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', Berke is quick to follow suit - and thanks to some after-school training from his songwriting fellow student Kelly (Kirsten Dunst), the theatrical novice manages to land himself a small role. However, as he continues to work together with Kelly, Berke wonders whether it's Allison he wants after all.
