American comedy horror in which a group of misfits who bond over an interest in the paranormal and an urge to get away from their humdrum lives, visit a potentially haunted barn to try to obtain footage of ghosts. Louis (Jon Heder), a disgruntled photocopy shop owner speaks with a customer who visits the shop to copy some 'No Trespassing' signs and discovers that this man is the owner of a building he believes to be haunted. Louis then assembles a team comprising his best friend Stan (David Krumholtz) who is burdened with depression, his oddball nephew Zak (Paul W. Downs), self-proclaimed medium Victoria (Amy Sedaris), a mall beautician named Ellie (Melonie Diaz) and Ross (Justin Long) the security guard, profoundly passionate in his job and overly keen to fulfil his civil duties. The group set out to investigate the barn's ghostly phenomena and make an unexpected discovery which puts them in danger.
