As a pregnant teenager, Apple Bailey (Vanessa Hudgens) plummets into a perilous struggle until she finds salvation in a suburban shelter for homeless teens. The shelter helps Apple break the shackles of her past and inspires her to embrace the future with clarity, maturity and hope for herself and her unborn child. Also starring James Earl Jones, Rosario Dawson and Brendan Fraser.

Ron Krauss directs this US drama starring Vanessa Hudgens as a pregnant teen in search of an accepting home. 16-year-old Apple Bailey (Hudgens) has had a trying life and her situation only appears to become more desperate when she discovers that she is with child. In flight from her abusive mother June (Rosario Dawson), she arrives at the door of the father she has never known, Tom (Brendan Fraser). The sense of succour is short-lived, however, and Apple soon relocates to a homeless shelter. Unexpectedly, however, it may only be when she becomes officially homeless that she discovers the path to a better life...
