I don't understand why this film was made. It's the only Halloween movie which doesn't feature the legendary Michael Myers and we have to ask... why? What is the purpose of this film? It's supposed to be the third in the Halloween series and after the success of the first two we were expecting Halloween 3 to be even better than, if not match, the first two. But in reality this film has nothing to do with the original Halloween storyline at all, it shouldn't even be privileged to have the title 'Halloween'.
The film itself isn't a bad idea, just poorly executed. If it was just called 'Season of the Witch' then maybe it would have been better, but the fact that it is supposed to lead on from Halloween 2 makes this film very poor. It should be renamed and took out of the Halloween series for good, only then will it gain a bit more respect.
