The collection of archive films and interviews from the Staffordshire Film Archive represents the best examples of Hanley captured on film from 1900 to the 1980s. We begin with the jubilee celebrations of 1960 and see scenes of Hanley town centre. Then we see the earliest film from 1900 and several town scenes from 1926.We see the newsreel from August 1927 of the Potteries wakes in Regent Road and the 1930 Wedgwood Pageant in Hanley Park.
