Originating as a segment on the television comedy series LOVE AMERICAN STYLE, HAPPY DAYS quickly earned its way into the pantheon of sitcom classics with the help of one of the most iconic characters in American pop culture. Centred on a suburban white-bread family in 1950s Milwaukee, the series chronicled the wholesome adventures of teenager Richie Cunningham (Ron Howard), his bobby-soxer younger sister, Joanie (Erin Moran), their exasperated parents, Howard (Tom Bosley) and Marion (Marion Ross), and Richie's on-the-make high school buddies, Potsie (Anson Williams) and Ralph (Donny Most). But it was the finger-snapping charm of the Cunninghams' upstairs tenant, greaser Arthur 'Fonzie' Fonzarelli (Henry Winkler), that vaulted the series into the annals of television history--and ensured Fonzie's leather jacket a permanent spot in the Smithsonian collection. This collection presents every nostalgic episode from the show's second series.

All 23 episodes from the second season of the 1950s-based comedy series that became a worldwide success in the 1970s. Set in Milwaukee, it follows the fortunes of the Cunninghams, a middle-class family led by Howard and Marion (Tom Bosley and Marion Ross), with their sons Richie and Chuck (Ron Howard and Gavan O'Herlihy), and daughter Joanie (Erin Moran). While hanging out at Arnold's Drive-in, high school student Richie strikes up a friendship with local biker, 'The Fonz' (Henry Winkler), who, after moving into the vacant apartment above the Cunningham's house, becomes Richie's guide to everything that is 'cool' in the world, dispatching advice on girls, clothes and style. The Fonz (along with his catchphrases - 'Sit on it' and 'Heeeyy'), became a hugely popular icon of the time. Episodes are: 'Richie Moves Out', 'Richie's Car', 'Who's Sorry Now?', 'You Go to My Head', 'R.O.T.C.', 'Haunted', 'Wish Upon a Star', 'Not with My Sister, You Don't', 'Big Money', 'A Star is Bored', 'Guess Who's Coming to Christmas', 'Open House', 'Fonzie's Getting Married', 'The Cunningham Caper', 'The Not Making of the President', 'Cruisin', 'The Howdy Doody Show', 'Get a Job', 'Fonzie Joins the Band', 'Fish and the Fins', 'Richie's Flip Side', 'Kiss Me Sickly' and 'Goin' to Chicago'.
