Writer Yudi (Saif Ali Khan) wrote a hit book five and a half years ago but he is still living life king-size in Los Angeles, enjoying fame and affairs, avoiding commitment, doing no work, partying with his miserably married friend Montu (Ranvir Shorey) or having conversations with his fat, bearded inner voice Yogi (also Saif). Suddenly, Yudi's money runs out and his publishers dump him for hit romance novelist Aanchal (Ileana D'Cruz), visiting from Mumbai.

Hindi romantic comedy. Yudi (Saif Ali Khan) is an aspiring writer who has lost his creative flair and hasn't written anything in the last few years. But his luck changes when an actor named Armaan (Govinda), searching Hollywood for a Bollywood script, approaches Yudi to write a film he can star in. However, this does not solve all of Yudi's problems. As he searches for a new romance his ex-girlfriend still thinks they are in a relationship after their recent split and tries to convince him otherwise.
