When Sapna (Meghna Naidu) meets charming painter Ajay (Tarun Arora) there is an instant attraction. However Sapna is married to Raj (Shawar Ali) and resists Ajay's attention on more than one occasion before finally succumbing to his charm. When Raj finds out about the affair, he decides to confront Ajay, but in a struggle, Ajay is accidentally killed. The police soon make Sapna and Raj their chief suspects and the couple decide to flee the country.
