Video technology came too late to record the golden years of Britain's railways during the steam era but thanks to a handful of amateur cameramen armed with 8mm cine cameras many images of the 'iron horse' have been saved for posterity. All the shots taken in the 1950's and 60's are totally original and are in full colour with sound track and commentary.
