Hirokin is considered to be a hero by many but he is plagued by a dark past. He is forced to make a life changing decision in order to fulfil his destiny and either protect anf fight for the freedom of a group of unfortunate men, women and children, or get revenge for the murder of his own family.

Action feature following the adventures of a samurai warrior on a barren and oppressive planet. Hirokin (Wes Bentley) is beaten up and left for dead in the desert after battling vainly to save the life of his wife and son from the designs of the planet's brutal dictator, Griffin (Julian Sands). As he regains his strength, Hirokin vows to avenge the murder of his loved ones by killing Griffin, but he gradually finds himself caught up in a wider movement among the planet's inhabitants to overthrow the dictator and win freedom. Will he be able to play his part in the struggle?
