A love triangle forms on the hazy streets of Kuala-Lumpur. After being beaten and robbed one night, homeless Hsiao-Kang (Lee Kang-Sheng) is taken in and and given shelter by some immigrant workers. After Rawang (Norman Atun), lets Hsiao-Kang share a mattress on the floor, his recovery is helped by local waitress Chyi (Shiang-chyi Chen), who begins lusting after the newcomer. As he slowly recovers, Hsiao-Kang finds himself caught between Rawang, Chyi, and Chyi's female boss.
