Kyoji is a Japanese chef working in a Hong Kong restaurant. Whilst having an affair with his employer's wife he's actually hired by his boss to poison her. He escapes by boat befriending a single mother but they soon part. Once he's installed in a seedy hotel in Phuket Thailand his boss sends his henchman to sort out some unfinished business.
