Shrikant and Saraddha have a ten-year-old daughter, Shruti. Accidently locked in her school, Shruti has to catch the late train home and is raped by three young drug addicts in front of three other passengers who are too frightened to help. She later dies in hospital and her parents begin an unusual legal battle between honest and corrupt.
