A documentary featuring Jack Johnson, the first Afro-American World Heavyweight Boxing Champion. Previously a sport dominated by white athletes, the boxing world was in for a shock when black boxer, Johnson, destroyed the then champion, Tommy Burns. The white establishment reacted extremely badly to Johnson's rise and sent retired former-champion, James J. Jeffries, to challenge for the title.
