Jack and his mother are so poor that Jack is sent to the market to sell their only cow. When Jack returns with only a handful of beans his mother is so upset that she throws the beans out of the window.In the morning Jack finds a huge beanstalk which reaches right up into the sky. Climbing up he finds a land between heaven and earth where a huge castle looms in in the distance. This castle is home to a cruel giant who has imprisoned Jack's father. Action adventure and excitement follow in this superb animated classic.
