Double-bill of documentaries in which the BBC presenter presents a collection of walks related to British transport history. In 'Railway Walks' (2008) Julia Bradbury walks what remains of the railway lines closed as a result of the Beeching cuts of the 1960s. With over 4,000 miles of railway and 3,000 stations closed in the decade following the report, many of the routes have become a mecca for ramblers across the country. Walks featured include: 'Derbyshire: Monsal Trail', 'Wales: Mawddach Trail', 'Speyside: Strathspey Railway', 'Cornwall: Coast to Coast Trail', 'Weymouth: Rodwell Trail' and 'Callander: Callander to Loch Tay'. 'Canal Walks' (2010) sees Bradbury uncovering the forgotten locks, bridges, aqueducts and tunnels that comprise a crucial part of the industrial history of Britain. Walks featured include: 'Highlands: Caledonian Canal', 'Birmingham: Worcester and Birmingham Canal', 'Bath: Kennet and Avon Canal' and 'North Wales: Llangollen Canal'.
