Julie is a story about a Christian girl (Laxmi) who lives with her mother a strict and religious lady and her lovable father who is an alcoholic. She falls deeply in love with her best friend's brother Shashi (Vikram) whose mother is also very religious. Conflict arises after the two lovers share a passionate night Julie falls pregnant and Shashi leaves for Calcutta. Julie is forced by her mother to move to another city and give up her newborn child.
