The complete trilogy of the made-for-TV thrillers. In 'Killer Waiting' (1984) John Thaw stars as Major Peter Hastings, now retired and living in the countryside. When he receives a phone call informing him that he will be killed on Monday, he is sure the call is a prank. But when his dog is killed, it seems an incident from his past service in Northern Ireland has returned to haunt him. In 'Killer Exposed' (1984), charming dentist Robin (Anthony Valentine) murders his partner Charlie (Molly Radlove) when he discovers she has been unfaithful. Robin finds himself being drawn to the detective assigned to the case, Gill Parsons (Dearbhla Molloy), who also happens to be one of his patients, with grave consequences. 'Killer Contract' (1984) stars Edward Woodward as high-flying businessman Bill Routledge. On the cusp of major success, Bill finds his life thrown into disarray when his daughter is kidnapped. Suspecting an American consortium with eyes on his business might be behind the abduction, Bill is torn over what action to take.
