Every episode from the Irish comedy written by and starring Pat Shortt. When German filmmaker Dieter Langer (Louis Lovett) arrives in the remote village of Killinaskully with the intention of making a documentary, he is unprepared for the eccentricity of the locals. Among those to take their place on his film reel are Willie Power (Shortt), the local politician and power-broker, Father Philip Eno (John Keogh), a priest with a habit of making unfortunate remarks, and The Widow Gilhooley (Maria McDermottroe), a woman as fierce as she is pious.
