Martial arts comedy in which Jay Chou stars as Shi-Jie, who was left abandoned as a baby and brought up by the master of a Shaolin monastery. Unsurprisingly, Shi-Jie becomes a kung fu expert with the ability to predict his opponent's next move. However, when he clashes with his superiors, he finds himself expelled from the monastery, forcing him to re-evaluate his life. He soon discovers, however, that his skills serve him well on the basketball court...
An orphan at birth, Jay grows up in a school for martial arts, becoming a prestigious master of kung fu. But when Jay clashes with his superiors, he's forced to leave the academy and live on the streets, leading him on a quest to seek out his long lost family.
