A triple bill of fun and games with Stan and Ollie. In the feature film 'A Chump at Oxford' (1940), as a reward for thwarting a bank robbery, Stan (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) are given the money to study at Oxford. After a blow on the head, Stan believes he is the long-lost Lord Paddington, a brilliant athlete and scholar, and Ollie has to suffer the indignity of serving as his sidekick's lackey. In the collection of shorts entitled 'Someone's Ailing', 'County Hospital' sees Ollie's broken leg offering him a chance to rest, which he does until Stan pays him a visit. 'Them Thar Hills' sees Ollie suffering from gout, prompting a trip into the mountains, while its sequel 'Tit for Tat' shows what happens after their return. In 'Perfect Day' Stan and Ollie organise a family picnic. Finally, in the feature film 'Way Out West' (1937), Stan and Ollie bungle the delivery of a goldmine deed to Mary Roberts (Rosina Lawrence). Duped by the saloon owner into giving the deed away, the comedy duo set about restoring it to its rightful owner.
