Stephen Frears directs this comedy drama set in Las Vegas. Beth Raymer (Rebecca Hall) is a bubbly, good-hearted stripper who leaves her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida for Las Vegas in the hope of finding a more wholesome way to earn her living. She finds work in a betting organisation run by seasoned bookie Dink (Bruce Willis) and soon proves herself handy with numbers. But this knack for getting big returns soon leads to her becoming Dink's lucky charm and right-hand woman, much to the chagrin of Dink's wife, Tulip (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Vince Vaughn and Joshua Jackson co-star.
