Drama based on the true story of Salma (Hiam Abbass), a Palestinian widow who has lived on the green line border between Israel and the West Bank for decades. When the new Israeli Defense Minister moves in next door to Salma, the Israeli security forces declare her lemon grove a threat to the minister's safety and issue orders to have it uprooted. But the security forces have not reckoned on the grit and determination of the widow, who engages young Palestinian lawyer Ziad Daud (Ali Suliman) and takes her case all the way to the Israeli Supreme Court in her attempt to try and save her trees.
