Philippe, (Roschdy Zem, The Cold Light of Day) runs a fire brigade barracks in the South of France. During a summer-long heatwave, blazing fires spark up all over the countryside, some more suspicious than others. When Bénédicte (Emilie Dequenne) arrives; a warrant officer of the same rank, tensions within the brigade intensify to new levels. When the brigade are called to a terrible car crash, Bénédicte finds herself reaching for new depths of courage and bravery, as one man's life hangs in the balance.

Roschdy Zem and Émilie Dequenne star in this French drama written and directed by Pierre Jolivet. The film follows Bénédicte Meursault (Dequenne), a female firefighter who joins a small fire house in southern France. After being welcomed by the captain Philippe (Zem), Bénédicte joins the team as they respond to a serious car accident. However, when she fails to locate one of the victims who is left fighting for his life in hospital as a result, Bénédicte is forced to make some tough decisions as she considers her future.
