1980s teen comedy starring Corey Haim as a 16-year-old whose plans to take a beautiful girl out on a date are only slightly dented by a failure to pass his driving test. Undeterred by his poor performance at the test centre, Les (Haim) takes off in his grandfather's Cadillac to pick up Mercedes (Heather Graham). The pair have an enjoyable night until Mercedes drinks a little too much and decides to dance on the Cadillac's bonnet, denting it. A panicked Les heads to the house of his friend, Dean (Corey Feldman), where the boys manage to patch up most of the dents. However, propelled by the spirit of youth, they can't resist heading for a joyride. This time they may not be able to repair the damage quite so easily...
