British hip hop drama set around freestyle battles in London's gritty Brixton scene. At night, after leaving his day job in a record shop, Danny (Ashley Walters) leads a posse of South London DJs known as The Motion Crew as they do battle with other groups from the North. When Danny falls for a beautiful singer who is related to one of his deadly rivals from The Hard Cash Crew, all hell threatens to break loose as the two camps lock horns for a winner-takes-all competition.
