Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play.  Set in Dublin’s violent gangland, the award winning Irish series is a hard-hitting and unflinching look at the lives and loves of the criminals who work in the city’s drug organisations, the pressures that result in young people joining the gangs and the dangers that they face. It tells the story of the rise and fall of young gang footsoldier Darren (Robert Sheehan – Misfits), his doomed love for his childhood sweetheart Rosie (Ruth Negga – Shirley) and their deadly involvement in the dark world of chilling gang kingpin John Boy Power (Aidan Gillen – The Wire, Game of Thrones) and his weaselly second in command – and pretender to the throne – Nidge (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor - Becoming Jane).

All episodes from the first and second series of the Irish drama centred around the criminal underworld of Dublin. After living in Spain for some time, hiding from the Irish police who want him for gun possession, Darren (Robert Sheehan) arrives back home in Dublin where his brother Robbie (Chris Newman) is about to be released from prison. Upon his release, however, Robbie is killed in a drive-by shooting and Darren vows that he will avenge his brother's death.
