Christopher Lambert and Fleur Lise Heuet star in this equine tale about a girl fighting against the odds. While living happily at her father, Pierre (Lambert)'s, stables in Normandy, Louise Barthélémy (Heuet)'s life is turned upside down when fate deals the family a cruel blow. As her father struggles to keep the business afloat, Louise, who has always dreamed of being a jockey, enrols at an elite riding school in the hope of turning their fortunes around.

Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play. Louise (Fleur Lise – Cloclo) lives a happy life on her family’s ranch in Normandy. However, when tragedy strikes she finds herself alone with her father Pierre (Christophe Lambert – Highlander), and with business moving slowly they are left on the verge of bankruptcy. Louise’s only hope at redeeming her family’s misfortunes rests with Marquise, a young mare that she raised whilst growing up. Louise must learn to compete as a horse racer and harness the natural gifts of Marquise, and against all odds the pair will fight against their relentless fate to turn their luck around. Lucky Star is the heart-warming tale of finding hope and friendship in the unlikeliest of places.
