Feature-length documentary about Yugoslavian-born performance artist Marina Abramovic. The film follows Abramovic as she prepares for a retrospective of her work at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. The centrepiece of the show is the presence of Abramovic herself, who sits at a table in the museum's atrium. Members of the audience are invited to join her, one at a time, at the opposite end of the table. No talking, touching or overt communication are allowed, Abramovic's objective being to transmit a luminous state of being to her audience.
