Mayhem was formed in 1984 by Euronymous (guitars / vocals) Manheim (drums) and Necrobutcher (bass / vocals). Seven years after the release of De Mysteriis Dom Santhanas Mayhem release their second full-length album Grand Declaration of War through Season of Mist. The album was highly acclaimed by the worldwide press for its production and for being innovative and daring. Mayhem toured both in Europe and America after the release of Grand Declaration of War and during the tours many were impressed by both sound and show.
