Made-for-television sci-fi disaster film set in San Francisco. Astrophysicist Michelle Young (Kari Matchett) is secretly drafted in by the government to investigate an outburst of deadly meteors threatening to break through Earth's atmosphere over the city of San Francisco. As the catastrophic events unfold, the science community, the military and the media turn out to all have very different ideas about how to deal with the impending disaster.
