DCI John Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon) tackles another murder mystery in the picturesque Midsomer region. After a hooded corpse is found in a position that resembles the death of a woman in a mural in the local church, villagers begin to speculate the movements of a madman. When two more bodies are discovered in similar states, DCI Barnaby steps in to try to solve the crime.
