Classic adventure drama from director Ernest B. Schoedsack. Jill Young (Terry Moore) grew up in Tanzania with her beloved gorilla, Joe. Now an adult, Jill is approached by promoter Max O'Hara (Robert Armstrong) who persuades her to become part of a show which will star her and Joe at his nightclub in Hollywood. Although the show does well, the situation soon gets out of hand when a caged Joe is provoked by drunks, leading him to break out of his hold and create havoc.
