Award-winning actress Geraldine McEwan stars as Miss Marple in four more murder mysteries from the ITV series. In 'Towards Zero', Lady Tressilian (Eileen Atkins) hosts a house party on her Devon estate, along with her companion Mary (Julie Graham) and friend Treves (Tom Baker). Heads turn when tennis star Neville Strange (Greg Wise) turns up with his second wife, Kay (Zoe Tapper), while his first wife, Audrey (Saffron Burrows), is also attending. Miss Marple, a friend of Lady Tressilian, is also in attendance, and it isn't not long before the bodies start piling up. In 'Nemesis', Miss Marple is left an inheritance in the will of an old friend, but to claim it she must first grant his final wish and solve a crime - a crime she knows nothing about except for a single word: 'nemesis'. In 'At Bertram's Hotel', Miss Marple uncovers a sinister undercurrent of corruption and murder beneath the stuffy veneer of one of London's most elegant hotels. She is soon hot on the trail of a clever criminal gang. In 'Ordeal By Innocence', while serving a sentence for killing his mother - a crime he insisted he didn't commit - Jacko Argyle (Burn Gorman) dies in prison. Two years later, the man who could have supported Jacko's alibi suddenly turns up, and the family must come to terms with the fact not only that suspicion falls upon each of them, but that one of them is the real murderer.
