Light-hearted comedy in which a family's dog is kidnapped and transformed into 'Monster Mutt'. Max is the loved and loveable pet dog of the Taylor family. When the dog goes missing the family are naturally concerned - even more so when they discover that he has been kidnapped by the dastardly Sirus Caldwell (Zack Ward), CEO of the powerful corporation Envigoromax. It turns out that Envigoromax plan to use Max in test trials for their new energy-boosting drink, but the trials give Max far too much of a boost and turn him into a 'monster mutt'. The children of the Taylor family, Ashley (Rhiannon Leigh Wryn) and Zach (Billy Unger), must try to transform Max back to his dutiful self, with the aid of friendly scientist Dr Victor Lloyd (Brian Stepanek), all the while keeping him out of the clutches of Envigoromax's dog-seeking henchwoman, Natalya (Juliet Landau).
Zack Ward and Mindy Sterling star in this family friendly comedy about a friendly canine who's transformed into a hulking beast by an experimental energy drink.
