The Monty Python troupe perform a combination of classic sketches and new material at the Hollywood Bowl. By the time this concert was filmed, 'Monty Python' had become a huge success in America due to countless reruns of their TV shows on U.S. television (Elvis Presley was reported to be a huge fan). The team take an obvious delight in being able to add strong language to the sketches which they would never have been able to get away with on the BBC. All the best known material is here, including 'The Parrot Sketch', 'Nudge, Nudge', 'The Lumberjack Song', 'Silly Walks', 'The Argument Sketch' and, of course, Terry Gilliam's animations.
