Catherine Deneuve and Mena Suvari star in an adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas classic 'The Three Musketeers'. Fourteen years after witnessing the murder of his parents, young D'Artagnan (Justin Chambers) arrives in 17th century Paris with plans to join the musketeers, a small band of soldiers loyal to the King of France. He soon falls in love with Francesca (Suvari), a friend of the Queen's (Deneuve), and begins helping musketeers Porthos, Aramis and Athos in their battle against the corrupt Cardinal Richelieu (Stephen Rea). Amidst various sword fights and plenty of court intrigue, the fledgling musketeer soon has to mount a daring rescue mission when Francesca and the Queen are kidnapped by Richelieu's henchmen.
